CSA

Our farm produces a wide array of produce and other goods. Spring brings early greens and a diverse selection of seedlings and potted perennials. Summer is a kaleidoscope of color and taste, with garden favorites like beans, summer squash, tomatoes, and peppers filling our bushel baskets. Fall brings in the harvest for winter's darkening days but with season extension techniques, we sell greens into December. With the larders full of garlic, onions, carrots, beets, potatoes, and squash, storage crops then dominate. Winter is the time for deep rest and rejuvenation and thoughts of green growth ahead.

      MARKET MONEY CSA SHARES
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. It is a system designed  to help small farmers access much needed revenue at the beginning of the growing season when many purchases need to be made - potting soil, seeds, soil amendments- so we can provide our supporting communities with the freshest, most vibrant produce over the growing season.

HOW OUR MARKET MONEY CSA SYSTEM WORKS

  • Invest $100 between Jan. 1 and May 1st to receive $115 credit's worth of seedlings, potted perennials, and vegetables
  • Regular customer or veggie lover? We suggest buying multiple shares
  • Redeem credit at the Damariscotta Farmers Market (Mondays 3-6), Boothbay Farmers' Market (Thursdays 9-12) or on the farm (on-farm availability is limited)
  • Buy what you want, when you want, where you want!
  • No need to bring money to the markets! We will keep track of your credit. Market money is good through December 31 of the year of purchase.
