Community Supported Agriculture
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a system designed to help small farmers access much needed revenue at the beginning of the growing season when cash flow is low and expenses are high. There are many purchases need to be made - potting soil, seeds, soil amendments- so we can provide our supporting communities with fresh, vibrant produce over the growing season.
Our farm grows a wide array of produce. Spring brings early greens and a diverse selection of seedlings and potted perennials. Summer is a kaleidoscope of color and taste, with garden favorites like tomatoes, peppers, and melons filling our bushel baskets. Fall brings in the harvest for winter's darkening days. With larders full of garlic, onions, carrots, beets, and squash, storage crops round out our fresh green offerings. Winter is the time for sugar sweet spinach, spicy arugula, and other cold tolerant crops grown in unheated high tunnels, helping us provide fresh, vibrant food year-round for our local community.
